Drink Mix 160 is based on Hydrogel technology. When mixed with water, you get a liquid sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. The sports drink immediately turns into hydrogel in the acid of the stomach. The hydrogel ensures smooth transport of the drink through the stomach to the intestine where the water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.

Studies have shown that our body can absorb up to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. One sachet of Drink Mix 160, mixed with 500 ml of water - contains 40 grams of carbohydrates.
