Drink Mix 160 is based on Hydrogel technology. If you mix it with water, you get a liquid sports drink with a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. The sports drink immediately turns into hydrogel in the acid of the stomach. The hydrogel ensures smooth transport of the drink through the stomach to the intestines where the water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.
