The three actions

• Vasodilation: the main action, thanks to 600 mg of nitrate per dose (1800 mg in total across 3 days). Nitrate acts as a precursor to arginine, which the body converts into nitric oxide, producing the vasodilating effect.
• Buffering: the alkaline pH of the bicarbonate load (21 g per course) neutralises part of the lactic acid, so you can hold on longer during very high-intensity efforts.
• Anti-inflammatory action: the high polyphenol content reinforces the anti-inflammatory action, delays muscle inflammation and reduces muscle damage, which translates into better performance.

The ingredients

Polyphenols were the final addition; after various trials they could not be left out. Sourced from tart cherry extract with high levels of anthocyanins never before used in a pre-workout, they complete the trident.

How to use

A full course consists of 3 intakes of 21 g, each dissolved in 400 ml of cold water.

One-day race:

• 2 days before the race: drink the 400 ml spread across the day.
• The day before the race: drink the 400 ml spread across the day.
• On race day: drink the 400 ml no later than 3 hours before the start, spread over at least 1 hour.

Stage race:

• 2 days before the start: drink the 400 ml spread across the day.
• The day before the start: drink the 400 ml spread across the day.
• During the race: take the 400 ml in the afternoon of the day before the next stage, not in one go. The intake on race day itself is dropped.

Always test the product in training first. If you do not tolerate the race-day intake well, skip it.
