Five SANTAMADRE products, five moments. From the loading course that starts two days before the gun to the sachet you drink within the hour after the finish — every intake protocol on one page.

Which product
at which moment
Every SANTAMADRE product has one clear window in which it does its work. Line them up and your race week writes itself.
The three-day
course
First sachet
Dissolve 1 sachet (21 g) in 400 ml of cold water and drink it spread across the day. Not in one go.
Second sachet
Again 400 ml, again spread across the day.
Third sachet
Drink the 400 ml no later than 3 hours before the start, spread over at least 1 hour. That completes the course of 1800 mg nitrate, 21 g sodium bicarbonate and 750 mg polyphenols.
Multi-day races
D-2 and D-1 stay the same. During the race, take the 400 ml on the afternoon before the next stage, spread out. The race-day intake is dropped.
Test in training first
Bicarbonate can cause gastrointestinal complaints in some athletes. So run through the protocol at least once in training. If you tolerate the race-day intake poorly, skip it.

At fixed
intervals
RESET GEL follows a clock rather than a carbohydrate target.
By your
carbohydrate target
One gel after the warm-up
Take 1 gel right after the warm-up. If the effort runs longer than 1 hour, take an extra gel every 40 minutes.
Three levels per hour
Pick the level that matches your carbohydrate target. The schedule below gives gels, carbohydrates, lactate and sodium per hour.
Work your timing backwards
The gel needs 7 to 10 minutes. So take it before the climb or the race moment where you want to feel it, not during.
The gel is fully liquid and can be taken without water — keep drinking according to your own hydration plan, of course.
With or without
The composition is identical, except that one version contains 100 mg of caffeine per gel. At level 2 or 3 that adds up quickly — build it into your caffeine strategy deliberately. The caffeinated version is not recommended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

At the moment
itself
This is the only product in the range without a fixed schedule. You take it the moment you feel the first signs of cramp.
Acetic acid stimulates the taste receptors intensely, which draws the nervous system's attention to that new signal. Hence the way you take it:
As soon as possible
after the effort
One serving of 66 g, dissolved in water following the preparation instructions on the pack. The sooner after the finish, the better.
In short
Unusual Nitrous: 3 sachets of 21 g in 400 ml of cold water, starting two days before the race. The final intake no later than 3 hours before the start.
RESET GEL: under 3 hours, one gel halfway; over 3 hours, one gel every 3 hours.
Lactate 60: 1 gel after the warm-up for short intense efforts, or 1 to 3 gels per hour for a target of 40, 80 or 120 g of carbohydrates.
Jelly NO CRAMP: at the first signs of cramp — chew and hold each cube in the mouth for about 15 seconds.
Unusual Recovery: one 66 g serving as soon as possible after the finish, certainly when the next effort follows within 24 hours.
Add up all carbohydrates from gels and jellies in your hourly intake, and test every protocol in training first.
